โœฆ Synopsis

The incorporation of alkali hydroxides (MOH), especially KOH, within a well defined C-S-H phase (C-S-H(di,poly)) has been investigated. The results have shown the amount of bound MOH to be dependent on MOH concentration, composition of the C-S-H phase, ionic radius of the alkali, additional incorporated cations like A13+, and temperature of formation of the C-S-H phase. From the results the conclusion is drawn that MOH is incorporated within the interlayer of the C-S-H phase mostly by neutralizing SlOH-proups.

The reaction of CzF5 radicals with HzS (2) C2F5 + HzS -+ CzF5H + HS kfi was studied over the range 1"-123"C using CZFS radicals generated by photolysis of perfluoropropionic anhydride. The rate constant k~ for reaction (2) is given by where e = 2.303RT/cal mole-'. The relevance of this result to c
