Singlet oxygen, or its synthetic equivalent, is generated by the action of resin-bound molybdate on hydrogen peroxide. Resin-bound peroxomolybdate converts reactant olefins to their ene, [4+2] and [2+2] cyctoaddition or secondary products. Over the past several years singlet oxygen, 102, has emerge
