✦ Synopsis

It seems that the experimental verification of the two suggested mechanisms for the formation of the "dope tubes" is difficult.

We suppose that some information may be obtained by comparing the recrystallization behavior of differently doped wires with their yield points and transition temperatures because the last mentioned properties are affected by the quality of the Cottrell clouds and the same factors, in our opinion, are operative in the recrystallization of the doped wires, too.
