✦ Synopsis
The apparent discrepancy between pseudocapacitances measured with different techniques which is observed for thin poly(4-vinylpyridine) coatings containing IrCIi-'3-on gold electrodes is discussed. The phenomenon is explained by the establishment of slow relaxation processes in the charge transport mechanism at high concentrations of redox sites.
