Abstract
In this paper, the field patterns of the dominant mode in unilateral finline are calculated by the hybrid finiteโelement method. Dependence of the field patterns on thickness of metallic fins and dielectric constant of dielectric substrate are presented. The figures in this paper have important values in the design of finline millimeter wave integrated circuits. ยฉ 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
