✦ Synopsis

it is shown that the injection of electrons into heavy gases, in particular into dense gaseous Xe, results in the appearance of b&und state's or electron--atom clusters. The stabilization of the cluster is obtained when taking into account not only short-range interactions but also long-range (polarization) interactions. Methods for the experimental observation of the clusters are proposed.
