The irradiation of CuAu with neutrons causes two separable effects. Disordering is caused by fast neutrons, and is negligible with thermal neutrons; the rate is approximately 0.7 of the rate for Cu3.4~. A secondary effect, probably ordering, is caused by thermal neutrons, very likely through the age
