In this article we exploit the concept of probability for defining the fuzzy entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets ~IFSs!. We then propose two families of entropy measures for IFSs and also construct the axiom definition and properties. Two definitions of entropy for IFSs proposed by Burillo and Bust

β¦ Synopsis
We formulate and solve a collection of functional equations arising in the framework of fuzzy logic when modeling the concept of a difference operation between couples of fuzzy sets.

The value A(x) for a particular x is typically associated with a degree of belief of some expert. There is now a quite extensive theory of fuzzy sets, the basics involving putting operations on the set ?J'(S) of all fuzzy subsets of the set S. These operations stem from operations on the unit interv
In this paper, we first review several popular similarity measures between fuzzy sets and then extend those similarity measures to intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We also propose two new similarity measures between intuitionistic fuzzy sets. These similarity measures have been found to satisfy some simil
In this paper, notions of fuzzy closure system and fuzzy closure L-system on L-ordered sets are introduced from the fuzzy point of view. We first explore the fundamental properties of fuzzy closure systems. Then the correspondence between fuzzy closure systems (fuzzy closure L-systems) and fuzzy clo
