It is shown that the cspression X = +x,, +$x1 gives fairly incorrecl results when used in the saturation region for highly paramagnetic anisotropic systems. Explicit expressions for rhc average magnetic susceptibility in the s~turplion region arc suggested, which, besides being estremcly accurate. i

β¦ Synopsis
Taking the average of the magnetizations along three orthogonal axes may be a poor approximation in the calculation of the paramagnetic magnetization of a polycrystalline sample of a magnetically anisotropic compound.
As an example we examined an axially symmetricd5 system, in which such an approximation results for large values of &Y/kT in serious discrepancies with respect to the exact calculation.

The effect of bulk magnetic susceptibility (BMS) on solid state NMR spectra of paramagnetic compounds was investigated theoretically and experimentally. The BMS shift was calculated for cylindrical and spherocylinderical containers with some ratios of the length L and the diameter D. The results sho
A method based on the symbolic solution of the stochastic Liouville equation for the calculation of magnetic effects and RYDMR spectra is suggested. It allows the .umber of interrelated equations to be cut down and it is also attractive for time-resolved problems and intermediate short-lived complex
## Abstract The reconstruction of a current distribution from measurements of the magnetic field is an important problem of current research in inverse problems. Here, we study an appropriate solution to the forward problem, i.e. the calculation of a current distribution given some resistance or co
