We construct two-dimensional Buchsbaum complexes with certain lower bounds on the f -vectors (or equivalently h-vectors) of Buchsbaum complexes obtained by Terai [8].

Taking advantage of a special class ofmultiplierless one-dimensional digitaljilters (1,2), which were designed with coeflcients which are powers of two, it is possible to design twodimensional digitaljlters, which also possess powers of two coejicients. The stability of these filters is considered a
For special problems of the theory of elasticity, coupled boundary and ยฎnite element analysis may be a useful alternative to either ยฎnite element or boundary element analysis. Herein, we propose a new mode of coupled analysis which is based on combining the linear theory of elasticity with Timoshenk
