โœฆ Synopsis

New observations made on board the stratospheric solar observatory (SSO) in 1973 confirm the conclusion of the previous paper (Krat, 1972) showing a more rough structure of the chromosphere in comparison with the photosphere.

Photoelectric measurements of photospheric velocity fields have been carried out with the Sacramento Peak Doppler Zeeman Analyzer. Emphasis was given to long periods and low spatial wavenumbers in deep photospheric layers, where the 5-rain oscillations are less dominant. Multiple or double peaks ca

The current models of the solar photosphere consisting of a large number of vertical columns of plasma seem to be in contradiction with the new observational data obtained from the spectrograms taken during the third flight of the Soviet Solar Stratospheric Observatory (SSO) on 1970, July 30. In a recent paper ; hereafter called Paper A) the author pointed out that multiple peaks in the Fourier spectra of the 5-rain oscillations as reported by others and discussed in several theoretical papers, do not characterize the average solar atmosphere, but result from insufficient statistical sta
