Let N/M be an inclusion of von Neumann algebras with a conditional expectation E: M Γ N satisfying the finite index condition of [PiPo], i.e., there exists c>0 such that E(x) cx, \x # M + . In [Po4] we proved that such inclusions N/M satisfy the relative version of Dixmier's property, namely for any
The finite dimensional flexible composition algebras include the Hurwitz alge-Ε½ . bras composition algebras with unit element , but also other interesting classes of algebras: the para-Hurwitz and the Okubo algebras. The above mentioned algebras present many symmetries, and this is reflected in thei
Let α be a parabolic subalgebra in a semisimple Lie algebra α. We study the Ε½ . module M induced from a one-dimensional α-module of weight . Let U s α Ε½ . Ε½ . U α rI be the quotient of the enveloping algebra U α by the annihilator I of the generic module induced from α. Let Z denote the integral clo
