## Abstract Here we present a linear order multiscale method for the fast summation of long range forces in a system consisting of a large number of charge and dipolar particles. For a __N__โbody system, our algorithm requires an order of work that is proportional to __O__(__N__), in comparison to

The use of a partial charge version of the Ewald sum method to treat long range electrostatic interactions in molecular dynamics simulations of water has been investigated. The orientational structure and energetic properties of the liquid have been studied for several choices of Ewald sum parameter
were used to assess the nature of long-range interactions between 3,16-and 3,17-carbonyl groups in androstanediones. The 13 C-NMR results appear to confirm the proposition that the interactions in androstane-3,16-dione are stronger.
The traditional Sznajd model, as well as its Ochrombel simpliรฟcation, for opinion spreading are modiรฟed to have a convincing strength proportional to a negative power of the spatial distance. We รฟnd the usual phase transition in the full Sznajd model, but not in the Ochrombel simpliรฟcation. We also
