✦ Synopsis

In this paper, we show that the fuzzy logic system presented by is a linear expansion of the fuzzy rule base if fuzzy events are represented by triangular basis functions. Therefore, based on linear regression theory, we propose a direct approach for constructing a fuzzy logic system from input-output data. The e ectiveness of this approach is demonstrated by simulations.

Fuzzy rule-based systems are nowadays one of the most successful applications of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic. Most applications use a flat set of fuzzy rules. However, in complex applications with a large set of variables, it is not appropriate to define the system with a flat set of rules because, a

The present paper is concerned with the study of fuzzy dynamical systems. The notions of equivalence of F-dynamical systems, a factor of an F-dynamical system and corresponding homomorphism, inverse and direct spectra are introduced and a few propositions are proved. @

In this paper, we analyse the generalization of the classical method of the construction of a preference structure from a reflexive binary relation to the case of fuzzy binary relations. According to our approach, there are two interesting fuzzy preference structures we can construct from a given re
