The structures of two minor oligosaccharides isolated from human milk have been investigated. By using f.a.b.-mass spectrometry, methylation analysis, and partial formolysis as the principal methods of structural investigation, these oligosaccharides were identified as IV2-alpha-Fuc-III6-alpha-NeuAc
