Graphite vaporization induced by long pulses of near infrared laser to produce fullerenes is reported. Results of iodine photodissociation laser-driven (A= 1.315 pm, pulse length \_ 150 ps) formation of Cso,,o fullerenes at various experimental conditions (number of laser shots, helium pressure, tar
