✦ Synopsis
The line positions for rotational transitions in the A W-X 'Z-( LO), (2,1), and (3,2) bands of ND are reported in a molecular beam study. These data, in conjunction with previous spectroscopic data on (O,O), ( 1,l) and (2,2) bands, allows calculation of the vibrational intervals in both the A 'II and X %-electronic states. The derived ND spectroscopic parameters are compared with the corresponding values for NH.
