The title compound, C 18 H 18 B 2 O 6 ÁC 3 H 6 O, formed by reaction between phenylboronic acid and d-fructose, is shown to bed-fructopyranose 2,3; 4,5-bis(phenylboronate) and is analogous to d-fructoboronates previously prepared and characterized by NMR.
