Clothing materials may be considered composite materials composed of fiber, air, and moisture. For this paper, effective thermal conductivities of wet clothing materials were analyzed numerically using a proposed heat transfer model. The following simplifications were introduced. The clothing materi

β¦ Synopsis
A numerical scheme, based on a physical approach of the conduction phenomena, is proposed for the determination of the effective thermal conductivity of a two-components heterogeneous material. A medium made up of a regular assembly of cylinders is considered and the results appear to be consistent both with experimental data and analytical results obtained by other authors . Some results are also given for materials constituted of series of constant shape components of randomly distributed orientations.

The objective of this investigation is to propose a method of determination of effective thermal conductivity for laminated composite slab in non-linear case. The case when thermal conductivity of constituent and effective thermal conductivity are linear function of temperature is considered. The me

## Abstract A simple mathematical model for calculating the effective thermal conductivity of nanofluids has been developed based on the thermal resistance approach. The model is developed by considering both effects of a solidβlike nanolayer and convective heat transfer caused by Brownian motion w
