β¦ Synopsis
The possibility of parametric excitation of layered systems is analyzed. The analysis is performed on the basis of the equations obtained in [I]. It was shown in Part I that parametric resonance appears at the initial concentration gradient of the gas phase present in the system and periodic external actions on a distributed system. It was also shown that an external perturbation with frequency w excites the mode of transverse perturbations typical for this frequency. An exponential growth of the amplitude of distortion of the layered structure is observed at each point of the layered system. The increment of parametric instability increases abruptly in the region of fundamental frequencies of the system under consideration.
