β¦ Synopsis
Measurements have been made of the nuclear magnetic relaxation times TI and Tz of the protons of water in hair. These are interpreted as showing that water molecules in hair exist in a continuous range of environments with a wide spread of rates of molecular rotation. Even at high water contents most of the water molecules are much less mobile than molecules in bulk water. The term "mobility" is given a quantitative meaning.

High-Γeld 1H and 13C NMR methods (e.g. 1H{1H} and 13C{1H} NOE spectroscopy) were used to examine the tautomeric characteristics, particularly with regard to the question of azo-hydrazone tautomerism, of two azo dyes. Full 1H and 13C NMR signal assignments are given for both molecules. The NMR result
The twin domain structure of the ferroelastic P2 1 /m phase of TMCC is studied by means of NMR. Six orientational domains are verified from the NMR rotational pattern at 115 K in contrast to the expected number of three for a classical 6/mF2/m transition. The rotational angle Q between the epitaxial
Benzoxazines derived from bisphenol-A, formaldehyde, and primary amines were characterized using 13 C solid-state NMR spectroscopy. The two 1,3benzoxazines studied in this work are 2,2Π-(3-methyl-4-dihydro-1,3,2-benzoxazine)propane, (B-m) and 2,2Π-(3-phenyl-4-dihydro-1,3,2-benzoxazine)propane (B-a).
