โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel metalโplate antenna easily constructed by folding a single metal plate is proposed. The antenna comprises a radiating portion, a vertical ground portion, and a horizontal ground portion, and is easily fed by using a 50ฮฉ coaxial line. A constructed prototype suitable for application in the 2.4โGHz WLAN band is demonstrated. Details of the proposed antenna design are described, and experimental results of the constructed prototype are presented. ยฉ 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
