✦ Synopsis


By loading a bent slot of 60Њ close to each triangle tip, a no¨el dual-frequency design of a single-feed equilateral-triangular microstrip antenna is proposed and studied. By ¨arying the length of the bent slots, the present dual-frequency design can ha¨e a tunable frequency ratio of ; 1.4᎐2.0, with the two operating frequencies ha¨ing the same polarization planes and similar radiation characteristics. Details of the design concept and experimental results are presented and discussed.
