## Abstract A novel z‐bridged electromagnetic bandgap power plane is proposed for ultra‐wideband suppression of simultaneous switching noise (SSN) in high‐speed digital circuits. The z‐shaped bridge effectively increases the inductance between two adjacent unit cells. Stopband of −30 dB is realized
