β¦ Synopsis
In this paper we review two novel types of quantum structures. The first, aimed at producing during growth quantum wire superlattices relies on the deposition of tilted superlattices. Some of the difficulties associated with the growth of tilted supcrlattioes and the novel serpentine superlattice have been discussed and solutions proposed. The second type of quantum structures aimed at producing zero dimensional confinement stmctmes relies on the formation of an antidot lattice. The transport properties of antidot lattices with various perk&cities are presented.

A novel coordination polymer, [Mn(PDC)H 2 O] n (1) (H 2 PDCοΌpyridine-2,3-dicarboxylic acid), has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and single crystal X-ray diffraction. X-ray single crystal structural analyses revealed that two-dimensional frameworks were fo
