The transit time distribution of intravascular markers and highly diffusible solutes is determined by the mixing process within the network of interconnected sinusoids. Based on the role of the relative dispersion or coefficient of variation (CV2) of transit times as a measure of distribution dynami
The rotatory dispersion of the p-form of polypeptides is considered. The parameter bo of the Moffit-Yang equation is calculated quantum mechanically. The results obtained bo = -330, agrees with experiment which gives bo near zero for the p-form.
Using a simple, fust order molecular orbital theory the rotatory dispersion is estimated for inorganic complexes which are essentially octahedral\_ The results restituate the conclusions reached by Moffitt in 1956.
