โฆ Synopsis
Note fkorn the Editor
It is with some sadness, and a concomitant feeling of relief, that I am stepping down as Editor of Behavioral Sciences and the Law. Over my eight years as Co-Editor and Editor, I have watched BSL grow from a glimmer of an idea to a flourishing journal. I am proud of the journal, both for its humble beginnings and its considerable growth. I particularly want to thank the contributors who graciously endured my long, detailed letters and demands for multiple revisions.
Bob Wettstein, with his two new Co-Editors, Alan Tompkins, J.D., Ph.D., and Charles Ewing, J.D., Ph.D., has exciting ideas for BSL's further development. I wish them well.
As a small indulgence to a retiring editor, the editorial staff gave me fiee rein to choosing a topic for my final issue. I thought an update on malingering and deception would be especially fitting since it was one of my first BSL issues and topic of sustained interest.
