## CARBON were made in compression at various temperatures ranging from 2400ยฐC to the euteetic temperature (N 2800ยฐC). The carbide-bearing specimens were found to deform more rapidly than the matrix graphite specimens. This enhanced plasticity of graphite bodies containing carbide particles was co
