96-1 147 corrwlon nrismnt W r -N I alloy contalnlng a platlnum group metal. (Patent). A corrosion resistant Ti based alloy comprising: Cr: 0.005-2.0 wt.%, and further comprising one or more of elements seledd from: Ni: 0.005-2.0 W.%, Ir: 0.0052.0 W.%, Rh: 0.0052.0 wt.%, and the balance of Ti and inevitable impurities. Chromium may be replaced with one or more of 0.0051.5 wt.% of Cu and 0.005-1.5wt.% of Si, or 0.005-2.0 wt.% of Al. The corrosion resistant li based a b y has awllent corrosion resistance also in a normxidative atmosphere and also has an excellent crevice corrosion resistance.
