We present a pressure study of electronic transport properties of Yb 0.9 La 0.1 Rh 2 Si 2 . The stoichiometric system YbRh 2 Si 2 is close to a quantum critical point (QCP) and shows pronounced non-Fermi-liquid (NFL) properties. However, weak antiferromagnetic (AFM) order is found below T m ΒΌ 70 mK.

Crossover from non-Fermi liquid to Fermi
✍ P. Schlottmann πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 2009 πŸ› Elsevier Science 🌐 English βš– 321 KB

The nesting of the Fermi surfaces of an electron and a hole pocket separated by a nesting vector Q and the interaction between electrons gives rise to itinerant antiferromagnetism. The order can gradually be suppressed by mismatching the nesting and a quantum critical point is obtained as the N eel
