✦ Synopsis
We present a pressure study of electronic transport properties of Yb 0.9 La 0.1 Rh 2 Si 2 . The stoichiometric system YbRh 2 Si 2 is close to a quantum critical point (QCP) and shows pronounced non-Fermi-liquid (NFL) properties. However, weak antiferromagnetic (AFM) order is found below T m ¼ 70 mK. La-substitution expands the lattice and suppresses AFM order. Applying pressure reverses the lattice expansion and allows to tune the system through the QCP and finally to recover antiferromagnetism.
