The near-infrared spectrum of the B 2 ⌺ ϩ -X 2 ⌺ ϩ band system of the BaI molecule, obtained from the chemiluminescent reaction Ba ϩ I 2 and also by laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), was recorded by using Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTS). The LIF spectra were obtained by using a Ti:sapphire sing

✦ Synopsis
Off-diagonal coupling matrix elements have been calculated between vibrational levels of the C %+ and the D 'Z+ states of HeH, using published potential energy curves and radial coupling matrix elements. The theoretical off-diagonal matrix element between s= 0 of D 2Z+ and o= 3 of C 2Z+ is 39 cm-', which is comparable to a reported experimental value of 43.4 cm-'.

In this work, the BaI D 2 + and G 2 + electronic states were investigated using laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) and Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTS). The LIF visible spectra were obtained by using the second harmonic of the Ti:sapphire singlemode laser and the Ar + and Kr + multimode lasers as
The electronic spectra for the OH-H 2 and OH-D 2 complexes have been predicted from first principles. Our method relies on high quality ab initio calculations of a minimum energy path and an adiabatic separation of the bending vibrational modes. The model allows a simple interpretation and tentative
The electric dipole transition moments of the He; molecular ion between its two lowest 'X: states and its first six excited %+ states are computed at various internuclear distances between 0.8 and 4.0 a,. The results are obtained with two different A0 ba8sis sets at the multireference CI level of tr
