The appl]ca.tion of statisticaJ analysis on the set of tropospheric temperature data obtained from daily radiosonde launchings at Berlin-Tempelhof (52.8~ 13~ from June 1988 to June 1986 in the height range 46 m -10 km does not confirm a dependence of tropospheric temperature on sunspot number previously considered to be inside the hounds of possibility.
