From photographic recordings of some hundred bright Ca Β§ cells on the solar disk we find evidence for a smaller size of polar cells as compared to equatorial cells by a factor of about 0.9. We do not find an indication of a dependence of the structure of the cells on the heliographic position.

The appl]ca.tion of statisticaJ analysis on the set of tropospheric temperature data obtained from daily radiosonde launchings at Berlin-Tempelhof (52.8~ 13~ from June 1988 to June 1986 in the height range 46 m -10 km does not confirm a dependence of tropospheric temperature on sunspot number previo
From high precision computer controlled tracings of bright Ca+-mottles we investigated differential rotation, meridional and random motions of these chromospheric fine structures. The equatorial angular velocity of the Ca+-mottles agrees well with that of sunspots (14.~ per day, sidereal) and is 5 7
