✦ Synopsis
The title compound, C 16 H 16 N 2 O 2 , was synthesized by the condensation of aniline and succinic anhydride. The molecule lies across a crystallographic inversion centre. The dihedral angle between the benzene and acetamide planes is 33.36 (7) . N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains along [010].
