✦ Synopsis

The molecule of the title compound, C 22 H 16 N 2 O 2 , lies on a crystallographically imposed center of symmetry at the midpoint of the C-C bond of the oxamide unit. In the crystal structure, intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO and N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into ribbons along the c axis. The packing is further stabilized by C-HÁ Á Á interactions.
