## Abstract ^1^H and ^13^C NMR data are reported for hexamethylenetetramine (hexamine), 7‐nitro‐1,3,5‐triazaadamantane and some of their quaternary derivatives. INDO molecular orbital calculations have been performed on these molecules to aid the interpretation of their spectra.

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
^1^H and ^13^C data are presented for eleven 1,3,5‐triazaadamantane derivatives. Ring protonation produces a decrease in ^1^H screening and the opposite effect in the corresponding ^13^C spectrum. The trisaryl substituted compounds appear to exist as a single isomer with diequatorial and monoaxial substituents.

13C NMR spectral data for nine tetrahydro-1.5-benzodiazepin-2-ones are reported and the chemical shift assignments are discussed. The steric energies of the E and Z isomers of formyl derivatives were estimated by computer molecular modeling
## Abstract The assignment of all ring carbons of 37 derivatives of 1,3,4‐oxa‐ or thiadiazoles and of seven isosydnones is described. In some cases, ^13^C‐labelled compounds were used. The analysis of substituent effects and the calculation of charge densities of some of the derivatives suggest tha
