โœฆ Synopsis

Resolved r9F NMR lineshapes have been observed for powder samples of the sulphur hexafluoride deuteroclathrate hydrate at 4.2"K and tower temperatures. By comparison with computer simulated spectra we postulate that a distribution of correlation times exists in this system and that there is a rs'F chemical shift anisotropy of at least 100 ppm. This work further demonstrates the great utility and potential of cfathrate systems for studying free, isolated molecules.

## Abstract The static and dynamic stereochemistry of dimesitylโ€2,4,6โ€trimethoxyphenylmethane in solution was investigated by lineshape analysis of 1D NMR spectra and crossโ€peak amplitude processing in 2D EXSY spectra, recorded at variable temperatures.
