โฆ Synopsis
Resolved r9F NMR lineshapes have been observed for powder samples of the sulphur hexafluoride deuteroclathrate hydrate at 4.2"K and tower temperatures. By comparison with computer simulated spectra we postulate that a distribution of correlation times exists in this system and that there is a rs'F chemical shift anisotropy of at least 100 ppm. This work further demonstrates the great utility and potential of cfathrate systems for studying free, isolated molecules.
