✦ Synopsis
2,2Ј-Bipyridines / C 2 -symmetric diamines / Sodium phosphonate / Water-soluble catalyst / Hydrogenation New water-soluble rhodium and iridium complexes of 2,2Ј-substituted acetophenones under hydrogen pressure in basic aqueous media. No significant loss of catalyst activity is bipyridines, functionalized with PO 3 Na 2 groups, show very good catalytic activities in the reduction of various observed after one use.
