โข ABS pumps chosen for Tallinn deliveries
ABS Pumput Oy, Cardo Pump AB's Finnish subsidiary, will be the main equipment supplier for a waste water treatment plant to be renewed in Tallinn, Estonia. This is the most diverse pump project ever delivered by ABS, comprising * 6 waste water pumps ranging from 350 to 400 kW with a unit weight of 8 tons, * Scaba agitators, with a blade diameter of 4 m and shaft length of 29 m, * 10 submersible stainless steel mixers of different sizes โข Biogas compressors. The order is worth approximately 10m Swedish crowns. Deliveries will take place throughout 1996 and in early 1997.
In the Tallinn area the renewed treatment plant will considerably reduce waste emissions into the Gulf of l~'inland and in the Baltic Sea. Among the reasons ABS Pumput Oy was chosen for the project was the good performance of ABS installations in the Viikinm~iki pumping station in Helsinki.
