Abstract
A new switchedβnetwork broadband phase shifter is presented in this paper. The proposed unique network consists of a fixed main line of length Ξ»/2, and Ξ»/8 parallel open and short stubs, which are shunted at the edge points of the main line. It has a more dispersive phase property than a standard transmission line, and can control the phase slope by the optimum Z~m~ and Z~s~ values to produce an impedance match and minimum phase deviation at the desired phase shift. ## Abstract This paper presents two types of phase shifters using parallel coupled lines as compact and broadband couplers. Phase shifts are enabled by varying the varactor capacitances or by switching the PIN diode ON/OFF. Both have shown about 40% bandwidth within Β±3.5Β° phase error. While an adju
## Abstract Analysis and design of a new 360Β° reflection type phase shifter is proposed. The new phase shifter uses a switch and one varactor device per reflective load. Equations for the analysis and design of the new phase shifter are presented. A 2.5 GHz phase shifter is fabricated using a varact
