The quantitative determination of glycoproteins and lectins by laser nephelometry is based on the fact that these two compounds form a complex comparable to the antigenantibody precipitate. Due to the high sensitivity and reliability of this technique less than 25 pmol of glycoprotein or 4.5 pmol of
