New Lamellarin Alkaloids from an Unidentified Ascidian from the Arabian Sea. -Nine new lamellarin alkaloids, e.g. (I) and (II), are isolated from the prosobranch mollusc Lamellaria sp. The structures of these compounds are mainly determined by means of NMR-spectroscopy. The first examples of lamella

β¦ Synopsis
An unidentified ascidian from the Arabian Sea contained nine new alkaloids of the lamellarin class together with lamellarin N. The structures of the 20-sulfate derivatives of lamellarins T. U, V, and Y (I-4) and lamellarins T -X (5-9) were identified by interpretation of spectroscopic data. This is the first report oflamellarin sulfates.
