✦ Synopsis
The purpose of the present work is to highlight a number of recent experimental results that have contributed significantly to the broad area of research under the general heading liquids. Firstly we will be dealing with the long-standing issue of sound propagation in liquid water and with the structural and dynamical properties of interfacial and confined water. Next we will discuss experimental advances concerning the debated question of Boson peak. Finally we will focus on some experimental evidences of coupling model and on the puzzling case of PEO aggregation in water.
