โฆ Synopsis
Some recent developments and applications are introduced briefly. The main development is focussed on an energy saving sensor which can be operated for an extended time by a battery. Gas sensors for CO2 and NO, have been developed, in particular those with optical principles. The domestic gas leakage detector and the automatic control of air purifiers are two important applications of the gas sensor. The market of the 0, sensor for car engine control is becoming very large. The measurement of very small concentrations of gas will be one of the important applications in the future.
