A new class of nitrogen-containing corrosion inhibitors is introduced. The film-forming materials exhibit an excellent thermal stability, recommending them for applications in oil and gas production, especially, in deep hot wells or in refining processes. The chemistry, thermal stability data and corrosion inhibition performance in comparison to standard products are described.
