Abstract
New configurations of high‐frequency quasi‐lumped capacitive configurations and composite structures with application to bandpass filters are presented. These structures show distinct advantages that facilitate compactness and higher harmonic suppression and have been analyzed according to suitable network models. Simple design equations have been used to synthesize new filter configurations, which exhibit excellent higher‐order harmonic suppression. The proposed new designs have been validated by measurement. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 39: 490–493, 2003
