✦ Synopsis

Picking the right Loctite industrial product for the job in hand has been made easier, thanks to a new laminated selector chart.

This new chart lists the 17 most popular products together with their relevant features and includes application examples to help engineers match the task with the right adhesive, sealing material, cleaner or anti-seize compound. The reverse of the chart provides information on the use of products for pump, gearbox and shaft repair jobs. Exploded diagrams show where products can be used and the potential benefits.The chart has been designed to be of maximum benefit in the workshop environment.

A new guide for the Loctite products that are approved for use in the defence industry has also been published by the company. The guide lists product types, such as threadlocking, retaining, gasketting, cleaners, flat face bonding adhesives together with full product details and store codes. The materials held in Army/RAF stores, together with NATO stock numbers are also included.
