β¦ Synopsis
I am writing to inform you of the new arrangements for the submission of articles to the International Journal of Impact Engineering. You will have observed that the journal has expanded considerably in recent years and, to reflect this, the number of issues has been increased to 12 for 2006. It is an opportune time to appoint regional editors who can assist in maintaining the quality, growth and efficiency of the journal. I am pleased to report that Dr. C.E. Anderson Jr. has agreed to become the regional editor for America, Professor M. Langseth for Europe and Professor T.X. Yu for Asia. It bodes well for the future of the journal that these three distinguished engineers have agreed to fulfil these roles. I shall process manuscripts originating from Africa, Australia, India, Israel, the Middle East, New Zealand and several other countries outside the general areas of the regional editors, and continue as Editor-in-Chief.
I am looking forward to working with you for the continuing success of the International Journal of Impact Engineering.
