Phonon dispersion curves of single crystal iodine at 77 K i-zve been measured by cne-p~onon conerect inelastic neutron scattering techniques. The data ae analysed in terms of two Buckingham-six intennolecuh potenti; one to represent the shortest intermolecular interaction (3.5 A) and the other to re

β¦ Synopsis
Neutron inelastic incoherent scattering spectra of V,lM.ntiaqtione crystal were measuredat 20 and --144'C, and tie spectra obtained were compaxd with the calculated frequency distribution OF the lattice vibrations. _Mean square amplitude tensors of the molecule in the crystil were &so calculated at various temperatures.
The zkuhted tensors agee well with the ones obtained from an X-ray diffraction study.

## Abstract The vibrational spectra of the synthetic minerals crandallite and goyazite MAl~3~(OH)~6~(HPO~4~)(PO~4~) (M = Ca and Sr) were studied by means of vibrational (IR and Raman) and inelastic neutron scattering (INS) spectrometries at room and low temperatures. The results were discussed taki
Neut:on inelastic scntterinf spectra of 1,2-dichloroethane crystal have been measured at three temperatures above and below 177Β°K where the crystal undergoes a broad phase transition. Tfvo and three peaks have been observed in the hi& and low temperature phases, respectively. The frcqucncy distribut
